When You’re Watching Me Make A Song A Day
You are watching my creative process unfold in real time. It’s the real work of creativity – unfiltered and raw. It can be ugly, strange, but it’s always interesting. I don’t trust inspiration, I don’t trust “the muse” and I don’t really trust myself when it comes to creativity – I trust the process. I trust the work. I believe that everyone can be as creative as they want to be, and I want to help people to find their own process to trust. Because everything else is fleeting.

The Arctic Is Melting
Lyrics

The arctic is melting
We can do nothing
It’s melting way faster
Then the scientists thought
It’s a bigger disaster
The future is wrought

I live in Brooklyn
We’re going under
The sea will rise
Cities will drown
Let’s sing together
As the ships go down

There’s an angry and confused time traveler
Wondering why things had to be the way they were
He’s making observations
He’s writing down notes
And we’re all indicted
In the book he wrote
Called “We’re All Just Apes I Guess, In The End”

He’s stares in amazement
The joy we take in the wasting
He’s looking at Buzzfeed
He’s looking at Fox
Does he misunderstand it
Or is that the way people talk?

He gets in his spaceship
It’s a long trip to the future
How could they deny it?
Even as it was happening?
All their small little lives
They couldn’t see past it
