Following an Ash Wednesday service at Beale Air Force Base, five people, including three clergy and two veterans, were arrested for crossing the line onto base property. They sprinkled ashes on the base, representing the ashes of children killed by drones. Video here.

They held crosses bearing hand-painted illustrations representing specific children who have been killed by US airstrikes in Yemen and Pakistan. The images came from an ongoing RAFTT (Radical Arts For These Times) project memorializing the children.
